I am currently a senior researcher at Huawei Research Center in Munich working in area related to networking. I have received my doctorate from Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, France, in 2005. After my thesis, I spent 1 years as a CNRS research fellow in Supepelc, France, 2 years as a postdoc researcher at UMASS-Amherst, USA, 4 years as senior researcher at LCA2-EPFL, Switzerland, and 2 years as senior researcher at TLabs/TUBerlin.
I had the opportunity to work with outstanding researchers in the area of networking including, Prof. Anja Feldmann (Tlabs/TUBerlin), Prof. Jean-Yves Le Boudec (LCA2-EPFL), Prof. Don Towsley (UMASS-Amherst), Prof. Jim Kurose (UMASS-Amherst), and Prof. Kave Salamatian (LIP6/Universite de Savoie), where I accumulated skills from system design and system performance evaluation to mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.
My current research focus is on network robustness using multipath approaches. I am also active in Future Network Architecture and 5GPP design. I have earned ACM CoNEXT 2012 best paper award, for my work on multi-path TCP, and ACM e-Energy 2011 best paper award, for my work on energy saving in LTE networks. I am also a recipient of Special Prize for exceptional performance from the dean of computer and communication department, EPFL, in 2011.
I have been in technical committee program of IEEE Infocom from 2008 to 2014 and have been server as a reviewer for IEEE/ACM Trans. On Networking and IEEE Trans. On Information Theory and multiple other journals and conferences.
